Yes, as it goes, Amway is still going strong and growing. With recent ads in the media, Amway has taken back its name and is not hiding under the internet giant name of Quixtar as a partner store. The products are a superior quality with Satinique being a personal favorite. They are not however a way to save money or get a deal on. When you want the best or high quality, you do have to pay a better price. It is nice to have it delivered to my door.
But there is one thing that most people seem to leave out when looking to build a direct or multi level marketing business. The behind the scenes advantages to owning your own business. I am sure you have heard the remarks "Oh, it doesn't work!" The fact is if you don't it won't. It will not happen over night. But the tax and business advantages behing owning a business of your own can kepp you form paying taxes or at least cut down the amount or taxes you may owe by having deductions you can not take otherwise. Also with the new developments in how you can build your business in an almost hands off manner, it makes owning your businesses much easier. I have my own store front Shopping With Bonnie and those who would like to shop can do so at their own convenience. Should they choose to want wholesale after a while they can upgrade at their leasure without pressure.
One of the big controversies with Amway was the encouragement to participate in continued education such as tapes, books and functions. But take a look around you. The biggest internet gurus are selling just that. A way to build an online business and material to keep you on top of any new developments. Is there really a difference. I was suprised to see in the blogpost Amway spreads its wings on the net that Amway is venturing out into the world of social networking. So I
expect to see an even bigger rise in the companies popularity than before. And I have to admit, after becoming involved in other compensation plans, the Amway actually has the best with not up front loading or minimal purchase required. so the average person can order one month and not order for another month and still be active. They won't make any money but if they only want to be a consumer, then that is OK too. I know that Amway organizations are on Twitter and Facebook so expect to see it around for a long time.
Bernie Madoff got away with his scheme for a long time too. LOL
